Riikka_Marjamäki

Riikka Marjamäki works as the Head of the Office of President Ahtisaari. This is an office inside the Finnish conflict resolution organisation “Crisis Management Initiative” (CMI) that Martti Ahtisaari founded in 2005. Mrs Marjamäki heads the programming, planning and co-ordination of President Ahtisaari’s tasks and is in charge of liaison with various organisations where President Ahtisaari is involved.

Mrs Marjamäki joined CMI in 2005 and has had several roles in the organisation. She has been in her current role since 2009.

Mrs Marjamäki holds a Master’s Degree in International Politics from the University of Tampere. Prior to joining CMI, she has worked as a teacher and has work experience from various human rights and women’s rights organisations.

Johannes Lehtinen

Johannes Lehtinen is a researcher from the SaferGlobe Research Network, with a personal focus on arms trade and arms control.

Mr Lehtinen has been engaged in the SaferGlobe Research Network since 2013. As Team Coordinator he coordinates research related to arms-based security. He is also editor of SaferGlobe’s yearly “Finnish Arms Exports” report.

Mr Lehtinen holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Social Sciences from the University of Tampere, where he has served in several governing bodies.
